How does it work?
SEW Diagnostics is based on a SEW-EURODRIVE frequency inverter module, which is connected to the vehicle's engine. The module translates the frequency of the engine's electrical signal into an acoustic signal that can be detected by the smartphone app. The module can deliver different signals depending on the engine speed, which enables you to distinguish between normal and abnormal conditions. The module is designed to withstand high-temperature and high-voltage conditions. The module is also protected against high-pressure shocks. The diagnostic tool sends an error code to the smartphone, which then displays the cause and suggests a solution.
